What we collect

Skilled Wages has no accounts and no forms other than the contact form. If you use the contact form we receive the name, email address and message you type, and we keep them only to reply. Pay figures you enter into the "where does your pay fall" tool are computed in your browser and never sent to us.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without storing personal data or IP addresses. It records the page, referrer, country, browser and device type, plus a few anonymous events (a search, a toggle, a lookup) so we know which tools are used.

Advertising

The site is supported by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings and learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services. Ads load only after you interact with the page or a few seconds after it finishes loading.

Local storage

Your browser may remember a display preference (hourly or annual, nominal or adjusted) in local storage. Nothing else is stored on your device by us.

Third-party links

Links to SAM.gov, bls.gov, state agencies and other sites are governed by their own policies. We do not control what those sites collect.

Data we publish

All wage, employment and prevailing-wage figures on this site are aggregate public statistics from federal agencies. They contain no information about identifiable individuals, and we do not combine them with any visitor data.

Changes to this policy

If the analytics or advertising setup changes, this page will be updated and the effective date above revised.
